Welcome to Montessori B Website!
“The Tarbiyah vision at Crescent is a unique approach to Islamic education that
combines the practices of education, both past and present, east and west. It is based on
a holistic approach to developing the child-mind, body and spirit.”~Dawud Tauhidi
Our curriculum is unique in its design and approach. All learning is related to seven
themes: God Consciousness, Noble Character, Useful Knowledge, Healthy Living,
Human Relations, Faith in Action and Public Service. These themes will be integrated
into each subject area. Our first theme: God, the world and me. During this six-week unit
we will focus on Allah (swt). Allah is one. Allah knows all. All we do should please
Allah (swt).
One of the main goals of Islamic education is to nurture the soul, which represents the
connection of each child to Allah (swt). When our Preschoolers recognize and appreciate
all that Allah has made for us, they are demonstrating God Consciousness.
